Traces

Patient Tag | Few weeks left before the board exams, I was lucky to capture tonsillitis, yet again. The strep throat bacteria never left my system, its obvious, mines a recurrent variant - the result was a three-day hospital stay. The impairment left me unable to swallow - the drugs needed to be infused intravenously. Few days post recovery, I had diarrhea - another hospital visit.  I spent almost two days re-hydrating.

The review sessions never stopped for the class, but it had to in my case. I missed days of important lectures - the growing community of opportunistic  bacteria ran my system down. I was even sick as hell on my birthday

Prohibited | These materials we called book reviews are in reality illegal duplicates of copyrighted materials. Productions of these materials are massive and is present in almost every corner of the district despite the Philippine government's stand against any form of piracy.  This did not matter anymore, because once and for all, we needed a duplicate of these texts to pass the board exams in the cheapest way possible.

Post It | This is one of the few reminders I had to read everyday before heading to the review center. They were strong group of words which were never unsuccessful in making one remember to sleep, eat and pray, to avoid being overwhelmed, to relax, and to kick some ass. It was a strategy to be constantly reminded not to give in to the many distractions - they were present in every direction.  It is high time to clean my wall.
